Every kid needs a sidekick at the dentist.
When we wrapped up Kanopi Kids’ branding, something still didn’t feel finished. The visuals were strong, the tone was friendly, the website was beautiful, but the brand didn’t feel alive yet. Then came the idea we couldn’t shake off: what if Kanopi Kids had its own mascot?
What started as a fun thought quickly became an obsession. A mascot that could comfort kids, make them smile, and represent the clinic’s playful personality felt too right to ignore.
So, with a promise to go above and beyond, we began what turned into a six-month journey to bring this companion to life.
Bringing Kai to life meant designing a full character from scratch, not just a cute illustration but a friend kids could actually meet.
We started with a detailed 3D model and went through hundreds of variations: eyes, eyebrows, fingers, feet, tummy, even hair. Every little detail was refined until we reached maximum cuteness. 🐻
Kai wasn’t designed to be decoration. He was built to connect. To comfort kids beyond the screen, we created custom plush toys in three sizes, each one designed to be hugged, held, and loved.
When the first plush arrived, it was clear Kai had become more than a mascot. He was part of the team. The kids instantly connected with him, and parents loved the attention to detail.
But we didn’t stop there. To make visits even more magical, we turned Kai into a full-size costume that Dr. Anwar himself often wears during community events and visits.
That moment when a nervous child walks into the clinic and sees Kai waving from the hallway? Pure gold. ✨
Kai has become the heart of Kanopi Kids, the recognizable face that makes the brand unforgettable both online and in person.
He’s a walking reminder of what makes Kanopi Kids special: comfort, imagination, and genuine care.
